We’ve rolled into the Parrot Key Hotel twice now (our Florida trips are here), and let me tell you, it’s hands down one of our top picks in the Keys, maybe even in the whole state of Florida.
This place screams tropical vibes with its waterfront views and colorful vibrant decor. And talk about amenities ! They’ve got multiple pools (one without kids), a bar right on the water, and rooms that make you feel like you’re living in your own little island oasis.
What really got us revved up though, was that the rooms are spread out in houses and villas instead of crammed into one big building. It made it a breeze to hop on the bike and hit the road without dealing with elevators or long hallways.
For anyone itching to soak up the beauty and charm of Key West, this spot’s a must-visit. Trust me, you won’t regret it !

Carolyn AirBnB – The Cow Cottage by the owner of the Ole Farm Cabin – Indiahoma, OK.
Our stay at that little slice of heaven in Oklahoma was pure bliss from start to finish.
Picture this : a quaint little house tucked away amidst fields and cows, like something straight off a postcard.
And the inside was just as sweet as the outside. Impeccably maintained and decked out with some seriously tasteful decor.
The cherry on top : the warm welcome we got and the solid advice they dished out. Even though I might not find myself back in this part of Oklahoma anytime soon, if I ever do, you can bet your boots that’s where I’ll be laying my head again.

This spot is a real gem ! The food ? Absolutely mouthwatering. And can we talk about how affordable it is, especially by London standards ?
Plus, those motorcycles ? Truly magnificent !
It’s like a sanctuary, authentic haven for bikers, but without any of that rough-around-the-edges vibe you might expect. Nope, here you’ll find plush leather sofas, classy interior decor, and dishes that are impeccably crafted. Let’s not forget the barber and tattoo artists !
Even our friends who aren’t exactly motorcycle enthusiasts felt right at home as soon as we stepped through the door. Now that’s saying something !

Fathom’s Steam Room and Raw Bar – Carrabelle, FL.
This is an other place we would have driven right past if someone had not tipped us off ! From the outside, it might not catch your eye, but step inside and you’re in for a treat.
The vibe is electric, especially with that killer seafood and atmosphere.
Picture this : on one side, you’ve got boats bobbing in the harbor, and on the other, a stage where a band’s laying down some serious tunes. They even do open mic nights once in a while.
The staff ? Couldn’t be friendlier. And sure enough, after a long day on the road, nothing hits the spot quite like their ice-cold brews.
